House Sitting Policies Our house-sitting service is designed to help neighbors feel confident that their home is being checked on and cared for while they are away. We provide reliable visits to ensure the home appears occupied and basic tasks are taken care of. Services We Provide During each visit we may: Bring in mail and packages Water indoor or outdoor plants Check doors, windows, and gates Turn lights on or off Take out trash bins if needed Feed pets or refill water bowls if arranged in advance (not dogs) Notify the homeowner if anything unusual is noticed Additional small tasks may be discussed during the initial meeting. Visit Plans (Step-Up Schedule) Different homes need different levels of monitoring. Families may choose the plan that best fits their needs. Once Per Day Visit: Recommended for short trips or low-maintenance homes Includes: One visit per day Mail and package collection Plant watering (if needed) Quick home check No pets Price: $10 per day Price with pets: $18 (not dogs) Twice Per Day Visits Recommended for homes with independent pets or more frequent monitoring Includes: Morning visit Evening visit Mail and package collection Plant watering Pet food and water if arranged for easy pets (not dogs) Price: $18 per day Price with pets: $25 Three visits per day Useful if you have dogs and would like them to be cared for more frequently Everything mentioned above Morning, Afternoon, and Evening (If you do not have pets, we do not offer a 3-times per day for a no-pet household) Price: $30 per day You can also add-on other additional packages: - Light chores ($20 per hour for amateur cleaning) - Extended dog walking ($5 for every additional 15 minutes you order) New Client Policy Before the first house-sitting reservation: We must meet the homeowner and see the house in advance Instructions for the home must be clearly explained and written down Emergency contact information must be provided Keys, codes, and alarm instructions should be given at this meeting Social Media accounts must be linked New reservations should be scheduled at least one week in advance. Returning clients may schedule 2 days in advance. Cancellation Policy If a reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of the start date, a 50% fee of the total expected pay may still apply because that time was reserved. If plans change but the service is still needed on different days, we will do our best to reschedule without penalty.
